Requisitos Principales
- Minimum driving age is 18; most rental companies require drivers to be older and may add young-driver fees
- Carry your original national driving licence at all times — an IDP is only valid together with it
- Non-EU/EEA licence holders (including US, Canadian and Australian visitors) should carry a 1968-convention IDP; the US Embassy states a US state licence alone is not acceptable
- Every car in Poland must carry a fire extinguisher and a warning triangle, and headlights must be on at all times
